She is particularly passionate about improving equity and outcomes for the community. Emma has worked with clients to deliver evaluations and reviews in sectors including justice, human services and education.

Influential work

  • Evaluated two youth justice programs; including extensive consultation with department staff, magistrates, police and young participants; modelling outcomes such as recidivism; and identifying costs and benefits
  • Evaluated a AUD$550 million portfolio of initiatives designed to address regional, rural and remote workforce challenges, including complex quantitative analysis, extensive sector-wide stakeholder engagement and site visits to rural communities
  • Supported an organisational design review of a state organisation embedded in the court system to produce a robust model and implementation recommendations
  • Evaluated an election’s delivery for a state electoral commission to understand how well it produced important outcomes such as voter participation, enfranchisement and transparency
  • Supported a regional university to evaluate its equity programs to support low socioeconomic status students.

Outside of Nous

Emma holds a Bachelor of Science (biomedical science) and Bachelor of Arts (Honours in psychology) from the University of Queensland. She is a member of the Australian Evaluation Society.

In her spare time...

Emma enjoys spending time in the outdoors with friends and family (and her cat). She may also be found at the gym or attempting creative endeavours.
