Li is a collaborator who combines data, human-centred design and evidence-based tools to deliver better outcomes and improve systems.
She has also participated in various community advocacy roles where she contributed and reviewed key strategic decisions and facilitated discussions around relevant issues.

Influential work

  • Designed and facilitated interactive online discussions with young people to inform development of strategic plans for Queensland Government agencies and health consumer organisations
  • Contributed to Health Consumer Queensland’s Youth Engagement Framework
  • Analysed survey data for the evaluation of the PBS subsidised take-home naloxone pilot with the University of Queensland and Department of Health.

Outside of Nous

Over the last few years, Li partnered with various community organisations to advocate for issues important to young people from vulnerable groups. These community organisations include Health Consumers Queensland, Queensland Family and Child Commission, ASEAN-Australia Strategic Youth Partnership, Consumer Health Forum and Queensland Youth Parliament.

Before Nous, Li worked in policy and data in federal government and at a local university. She also volunteered at a few edtech start-ups.

Li holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland and is an Associate Member of the Economic Society of Australia.

In her spare time...

Li enjoys being active; making things with her hands; and watching too many YouTube videos on food, animals and self-improvement.
