She is passionate about creating strong and lasting solutions while ensuring an inclusive environment and excellent client experience. She uses her strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to drive projects and create positive change for her clients and their customers.

Influential work

  • Supported a Group of Eight university to transform its digital student experience, identifying how to transform systems, processes and organisational design
  • Led a university-wide project to promote greater retention and student success at a central London university
  • Developed a regional Australian university’s Employee Value Proposition and subsequently a targeted Talent Acquisition and Management Strategy to improve how they attract, retain and develop talent.
  • Managed development of the State Seniors Strategy and Action Plan for the Western Australia (WA) Government
  • Managed multiple functional and operating model reviews for government and university clients, identifying how they can better align organisational design and service delivery to broader business priorities.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous Mia worked in higher education in Perth and London, driving student success strategies and leading and motivating teams to provide excellent support for students and staff. She managed numerous strategy and transformation projects, including successful implementation of organisational change at University of WA (UWA) and London Metropolitan University.

Mia holds a Master of International Relations from UWA and a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Bergen in Norway.

Mia loves to travel – exploring new cities, meeting new people, and discovering new (and new to her) foods and restaurants.
