Paris has worked at the intersection of business and politics for several years.
She is specialised in providing detailed political analysis and strategy advice to clients across diverse sectors, including defence, aged care, infrastructure, recycling and health. She has experience engaging with ministerial offices, external stakeholders and business clients and has a deep knowledge of federal and state government policy priorities, which she applies to influence decision-makers. She is experienced at linking commercial objectives to government priorities, values and goals.

Influential work

  • Produced government engagement strategies for clients, including large defence and infrastructure clients, to bid for tenders, manage complex issues and build relationships with government
  • Identified and pursued government funding opportunities for a medical technology start–up to scale operations
  • Identified business development leads, including preparing pitches and documentation for CEOs
  • Regularly produced policy briefing for large multinational clients to inform decision making.

Outside of Nous

  • Prior to Nous, Paris worked as an Associate at TG Public Affairs, one of Australia’s largest political consultancy firms. She was a key member of the research team that provided briefing material to clients on the political, competitor and policy landscape, as well as strategic recommendations to support client outcomes.
  • Before this, Paris worked at Dragoman Global. As an Intern and Researcher, she conducted research into a diverse range of topics and regions, edited documents, managed spreadsheets and lunch invites and drafted reports. She also completed a work experience program at the National Press Club, assisting with office administration, social media updates and preparing an address for the Hon. John Howard and Hon. Bob Hawke.
  • Paris holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne (politics and international studies).

In her spare time...

Paris enjoys reading, knitting and yoga. She also likes to travel, and has lived in Korea, India and China. She is also learning Mandarin in her spare time.
