Taliah graduated from the Australian National University (ANU) with a Bachelor of Arts specialising in psychology.
She is passionate about working with organisations to empower evidence-based teamwork and change. Taliah has worked alongside vulnerable communities to inform service delivery. Her excellent communication skills enabled her ability to understand and communicate the varying needs of stakeholders.

Influential work

  • Developed an Australian Indigenous cultural competency course using a multimedia approach to incorporate different learning styles
  • Supported the implementation of a peer-to-peer support program at a G08 university, including designing protocols and workflow processes for a new team within the university
  • Assisted with analysis of raw data from an ongoing longitudinal study understanding the wellbeing of young people by providing inferences based on descriptive statistics and qualitative data provided by participants
  • Facilitated in-person workshops with vulnerable regional youth to develop strategic priorities for a state government department, including supporting the design of workshops and the integration of qualitative and quantitative data to prioritise challenges affecting young people
  • Supported a national health organisation with the development of structured workflow processes.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Taliah worked with members of her Dharawal community to provide a culturally safe space for young Indigenous women to creatively express themselves through the arts. Additionally, she worked alongside her local Police Area Command as a mentor in a program aimed at breaking down barriers between police and Indigenous students.

During university Taliah was awarded the Judith Wright Scholarship. She worked with the university as a peer wellbeing educator providing one-on-one support to students.
