media Release
Higher education benchmarking services leader NousCubane today announced the appointment of leading higher education expert Adam Gray as its Chief Executive Officer.
Adam has been acting as CEO delegate at NousCubane since December 2023 and will formally commence the role on 26 February 2024. He will lead the business as it expands its global presence and service offering to provide higher education institutions with a greater range of data-led solutions to address their biggest strategic challenges.
Adam said: “It couldn’t be a more exciting time to be leading NousCubane as we leverage the business’ strong growth to expand our international presence and broaden our offer to help more higher education institutions solve a greater array of problems.”
From April, Nous Group’s higher education data insights platform will be transitioned into NousCubane, enabling the business to offer a more diverse set of solutions that support education leaders with data and insights to inform their strategic decision making and progress their academic mission. This will complement UniForum, NousCubane’s flagship benchmarking program and practice-sharing forum.
Adam said: “Tertiary education leaders around the world are facing unprecedented challenges as they manage the after-effects of the pandemic, high inflation and constrained government funding. Innovative and robust data-led approaches, coupled with global cooperation, will be essential to success in coming decades.”
Adam is an expert in strategy, transformation, and operational performance and is one of Australia’s leading higher education consultants. He has held senior leadership positions within Nous Group for the past eight years and brings a wealth of expertise in international engagement, curriculum and portfolio design, research strategy and commercialisation, campus and precinct planning, and professional services transformation.
Nous Group CEO and Managing Principal Tim Orton said: “After a competitive search, we are thrilled to appoint Adam as the CEO of our growing NousCubane business. With a deep understanding of all facets of university academic mission and operation, and a background in technology and product development, Adam is well positioned to lead NousCubane as it further strengthens its offering.”
Adam takes over from NousCubane founder Edward Curry-Hyde.
Tim continued: “Under Edward’s leadership, NousCubane has established itself as a global leader and trusted partner for universities around the world, particularly through its UniForum program.
“We thank Edward for his unwavering focus on developing solutions that support universities to deliver their academic mission and we look forward to further investing in NousCubane’s tools and technologies to ensure its leadership today and into the future.”
