Alex is a consultant and registered psychologist with experience in delivering training and development, leadership assessment, change management, evaluation and diversity & inclusion interventions.

Alex possesses significant research and data analysis skills, which allow her to provide evidence-based solutions for clients. Alex has a passion for developing healthy and inclusive organisational cultures.

Influential work

  • Conducted a review of a state police service’s recruitment process to make recommendations on how to improve diversity and inclusion within the service
  • Delivered change management for a medium-sized super fund to ensure company readiness for ‘protecting my super’ legislation changes
  • Conducted leadership capability assessments for the selection of leaders in a state health department and emergency services
  • Delivered a leadership development program to supervisors in a major Queensland university to improve their skills in delivering feedback, setting collaborative goals and creating a learning environment for their Indigenous graduate employees
  • Designed an evaluation method to determine the efficacy of a medium-sized super fund’s finance training program.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Alex completed professional placements at Queensland Police Service, LGIAsuper, The University of Queensland’s human resources department and an Australasian consulting firm. She is a registered General Psychologist under Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and the Australian Psychological Society and holds a Master of Organisational Psychology and Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours). While completing these degrees Alex researched female academic employees’ reactions to their university’s equal opportunity programs. She also investigated whether people are less compassionate on Facebook than in-person.

In her spare time...

Alex enjoys attending live music gigs, playing social touch rugby and indoor soccer, surfing and snowboarding.
