She brings deep expertise in strategy, policy analysis, implementation and evaluation and has strong stakeholder engagement skills she employs with her wide professional network. She has worked with the Australian Government and the university sector. She has led major programs of reform and is an experienced board director.
Prior to Nous, Anne was a partner at education consulting firm PhillipsKPA, where she undertook assignments for government, university and peak body clients. She has had significant experience in the public sector, with over 30 years at the federal level including in the departments of education and industry. She was Director, International and Partnerships at the Australian National University.
Anne has considerable hands-on governance experience and is a current member of the board of the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute. She was previously a board member of the Australian-American Fulbright Commission, the Tuition Protection Service Advisory Board and the Council on Latin American Relations.
She has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Queensland.
Anne is a passionate traveller (when borders permit!) and enjoys food and good wine. She likes to cook for family and friends and tries to keep the weight down by trips to the gym and walking her ageing dog.
