Chris Lam

• Worked with a government agency to identify technology initiatives to better serve small businesses, including developing a prioritisation framework and analysing economic impacts
• Reviewed an agriculture industry services body to develop recommendations to help the body to better represent its members
• Developed a Sector Competitiveness Plan for Australia’s cyber security industry, including economic modelling and identifying sub-sectors in which Australia has a competitive advantage
• Conducted strategic workforce planning for a world-leading naval ship builder, including a skills analysis of the company’s future workforce needs and data analysis on Australia’s current and future skills supply.

Chris was previously a strategy consultant with Accenture, where he supported clients on business strategy, economic insights, technology implementation and independent evaluations. He provided strategic advice to businesses and governments on projects spanning technology, cyber security, consumer goods, telecommunications and defence.

Chris recently completed his practical legal training at the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency. He co-founded Waste Revolution, a sustainability start-up that helps businesses clean up the planet by going plastic-neutral.

He is a disability support worker for a Darwin-based NDIS provider, Being Mentors. He previously taught English at a refugee camp in Greece.

Chris loves the great outdoors, including surfing, camping, hiking and snowboarding. He enjoys cooking for my friends, playing tennis and swimming.
