Christian Jones

• Reviewed and improved the implementation of a $15 million initiative to address service gaps for people with a cognitive impairment and contact with the criminal justice system
• Evaluated a program that provides peer support and advocacy services for partners and family members affected by a loved one’s use of child sexual abuse material
• Contributed to the development of a nationally applicable framework to evaluate the effectiveness of programs aimed at countering violent extremism
• Developed an approach to safely and collaboratively transitioning people with complex support needs from custody or hospital to appropriate community-based placements.

Prior to joining Nous, Christian worked for an Australian state government department, where he worked with service providers to improve service delivery for people with complex support needs and behaviours that bring them into contact with the criminal justice system. While studying, he was involved in a series of research projects including developing an evaluation framework and an evaluation of a not-for-profit organisation.

Christian holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of New South Wales.

Christian is a keen scuba diver. He also loves surfing, reading, trail running, and finding exciting new places to eat.
