Dominic Serov

• Developed pathways for parents and students to achieve their education goals by presenting plans to empower people unfamiliar with the Australian education system  
• Developed reports on the effectiveness of rehabilitation services for offending persons, including research into the implementation of personal development plans for prisoners, stronger implementation of international custodial standards, and advocacy for prison access to education  
• Supported Crime Stoppers International analysis of service effectiveness as part of a student internship, conducting international interviews and research collection to maximise Crime Stoppers’ service outreach and assess possible locations and qualitative prerequisites for organisational growth. 

Outside of Nous, Dominic has been heavily involved in the education, legal and arts industries.  

As Campus Team Leader at Art of Smart Education, he learned valuable strategies for navigating education pathways. Sharing his knowledge with new students, parents and teaching staff to support them attain independence and confidence, Dominic’s personable working style won him the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Small Business Youth of the Year in 2019.  

Dominic is a professional musician and has been a part of 15 musical productions as a musician and conductor. Developing pitches, proposals, budgets and timelines for the lifecycle of projects, he always has an assistant musical director he can train to create a community of shared knowledge. 

Dominic loves to write musicals and is currently developing his second produced work. When he’s not at his keyboard, he’s in the bush rock climbing, cycling or hiking.
