He has experience across various industries and developing solutions involving business and digital strategy, portfolio optimisation, financial consulting and wealth management.
Influential work
- Analysed a large Victorian university’s area of speciality, international markets and short-form credential market and was involved in devising its 10-year growth strategy
- Consulted the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance on the Victorian building industry reform for a safer and more sustainable building process
- Developed a large Victorian university’s operation model redesign and refreshed agent engagement strategy
- Devised an engagement and collaboration model for the Department of Education and Training for a skills representative body.
Outside of Nous
Prior to working at Nous, Hasheem worked at Rolls-Royce Deutschland as a project propulsion engineer, Jetstar Airways and a project engineer, Grant Thornton Australia as a financial consultant; and a senior tutor in an academy.
Hasheem holds a Bachelor (Honours) in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor of Business Management from RMIT University. He continues to mentor high school and early university students on their career pathways, and engages with the Islamic youth communities across Melbourne.
In his spare time...
Hasheem tries to keep up his fitness by staying involved with the gym, swimming and sports. He also has an interest in various outdoor activities, including camping and fishing.
