He has a track record of managing highly complex and political transformation programs in Australia and the UK, delivering sustainable performance improvements and training and coaching front-line managers and staff.
In the seven years prior to joining Nous, Ian was a senior leader in the Public Sector Performance Improvement teams at PwC in Australia, and before this Ernst & Young in the UK. He advised government agencies, hospitals and police forces on strategic development, cost and performance improvements, program evaluations and functional reviews.
Since moving to Australia in 2014, Ian has led work that enabled the establishment of WA’s Primary Health Network and multiple projects with the Department of Health to implement reforms to the health system’s governance and management.
Ian holds a Master of Science in operational research and a Bachelor of Computer Science, and is a trained BTEC professional in ‘Training the Tainer’ and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Ian enjoys exploring WA’s coastline and rivers: either in a kayak, swimming in the ocean or watching the sunset with a nice glass of local beer or wine.
