James Lu

• Generated portfolios return analytics and wrote monthly performance reports to market eight-to-12 boutique funds that collectively held over AUD$500 million in funds under management (FUM)
• Helped raise AUD$1.5 million in FUM and marketed and launched a green metals fund for a boutique Australian fund manager
• Created a valuation model for a portfolio of investment companies across sectors including funds management, payments and lending and wealth technology
• Conducted environmental, social and governance research in the funds management industry and published the findings in a white paper
• Provided data-driven insights to help an American energy business determine the feasibility of expanding into the Australian hydrogen energy market.

Before joining Nous, James gained experience working in venture capital, funds and wealth management, real estate and the education sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours in advanced mathematics) and a Bachelor of Economics from University of New South Wales.

James plays tennis and learns Mandarin Chinese. He enjoys travelling the world and different cultures and cuisines.
