He has led and worked on projects across government, consulting and academia.
Laxman was previously a post-doctoral researcher at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health and a Senior Consultant at EY Melbourne's Health & Human Services practice. He also worked on process transformation for several global firms at KPMG India's Shared Services & Outsourcing practice.
Laxman holds a Doctor of Philosophy (business and economics) and a Master of Economics from The University of Melbourne; a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Aided Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and the University of California, Los Angeles; and a Bachelor of Engineering (biotechnology) from The University of Delhi.
Laxman is an avid reader and enjoys hiking in the ranges surrounding Melbourne.
