She focuses on health and ageing and human services projects but brings a deep understanding of how government operates across all sectors. Leanne has worked at executive level both in and for governments for over 20 years.
Prior to joining Nous in 2009, Leanne worked for over 30 years in the New South Wales public sector with executive and senior management experience in health and human services policy, workforce reform, information management and natural resource management. This included serving as deputy director-general in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
Leanne holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) and a Master of Business Administration from University of Technology Sydney.
In 2014 Leanne was named a national fellow of the Institute of Public Administration Australia in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the study and practice of public administration. She is a graduate of The Australian Institute of Company Directors and chair of the Jannawi Family Services board and Jannawi Connections Incorporated, and a board member of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance.
Leanne enjoys spending time with friends and family. Her interests include art, theatre, walking and knitting (not at the same time).
