Lotte is experienced in public policy and organisation design and passionate about helping not-for-profit, purpose-driven and government organisations navigate periods of significant change.

Her focus on people and consultative approach creates positive outcomes for clients, their stakeholders and the community. Lotte is the Melbourne Office representative of Nous’ LGBTIQ+ network, Nous Proud; and is dedicated to equity, diversity and inclusion both within Nous and for her clients.

Influential work

  • Completed strategic policy analysis and research on mobilising capital and public support for the transition to Net Zero
  • Designed the operating model and change management plan for an emergency management entity through a people-first approach and extensive staff consultation
  • Conducted a regulatory review of the property market, including significant industry and public engagement on complex legislative issues around housing and the conduct of industry professionals
  • Worked on the strategy and implementation of a $10 million social investment into career education across Australian high schools
  • Conducted an impact evaluation on internal policies for hybrid service delivery for a domestic and family violence service.

Outside of Nous

Outside of Nous, Lotte continues her research on migration policy and is on the Board of Directors for the Forcibly Displaced People Network. In her previous role in the Ethics Office of the UNHCR, Lotte provided ethics training to encourage culture and behaviour change within the UN system. She also worked in global health and international affairs for two not-for-profit organisations and consulted for UNAIDS.

Lotte holds a Master of Arts (Development Studies) from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva Switzerland and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences from University College Utrecht (UCU), the Netherlands. She has advocated for the inclusion and representation of LGBITQ+ students at both her universities by co-founding LGBTIQ+ organisations.

In her spare time...

Lotte loves trying new hobbies and spending time outdoors with her friends and family. Lotte’s interests include migration policy, queer theory and climate change.
