His career has spanned all the way from the Australian swimming team to government departments and large member-based organisations. He is particularly interested in renewable energy and the environment.
Prior to joining Nous, Michael has worked at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Mathematical and Statistical Frontiers (ACEMS), a professional services firm and an Australian health start-up. His work has primarily involved recommendations in data heavy contexts, using statistical tools and techniques to address business and other problems.
Michael was a community consultant for Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Big Lift, working towards Indigenous reconciliation; and was Vice President and a philanthropy coordinator for the science and engineering alumni of the Dean’s Scholars at QUT. He studied at QUT as a Vice-Chancellor’s and Dean’s scholar.
Michael enjoys playing football and board games, stand-up comedy and reading. He also enjoys exploring beaches and waterfalls.
