His economics and philosophy background enables him to approach client challenges in various ways, applying robust critical thinking skills, quantitative analysis and a meticulous approach to research. Ned has worked alongside government, member-based and not-for-profit clients to develop strategic plans and improve organisational capability. He is an engaging communicator with a creative presentation style, significant experience with stakeholder engagement and broad knowledge about policy issues.
Prior to joining Nous, Ned worked as a budget officer in the Australian Department of Finance and as a debating coach for high school students. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics and Philosophy) with Honours in Philosophy from The University of Melbourne.
Ned enjoys travel, playing the guitar, doing the New York Times crossword, and keeping up to date with international current affairs.
