Patrick has significant experience in operations management, customer experience strategy and design, business transformation (all stages of the project lifecycle including project and change management) and people leadership from 10 years of employment in the private sector.

He is data-driven and takes a customer-centric approach to problem-solving and tailoring solutions to client and stakeholder needs. He is also a strategic thinker, using a hands-on leadership style to connect to all levels of an organisation to lead teams and drive change.

Influential work

  • Conducted project and change management of airline digitalisation and airport infrastructure change programs throughout all stages of the project lifecycle with significant year-on-year financial benefits
  • Co-managed customer strategy design and project delivery of the airport experience for a Perth-to-London direct flight launch, new aircraft introduction, infrastructure changes (airport terminal and lounge) and check-in system digital transformation
  • Reviewed Melbourne Airport's five-year capital expenditure plan and achieved the sale of Sydney Airport’s Domestic Terminal (including developing associated airport passenger charges)
  • Co-managed approximately 240 frontline airline employees with accountability for approximately 8,000 airline passengers per day during the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Co-managed employee redundancy program with approximately 70 employees exited.

Outside of Nous

Prior to Nous, Patrick was an Airport Customer Experience Manager for Qantas, where he managed airport teams, was accountable for the airport customer experience operation and delivered large business transformation programs. He has worked across various leadership roles within the Qantas Group to lead people, develop and deliver customer strategy change programs and complete commercial negotiations. Recently he led a repatriation flight to India for Qantas in conjunction with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to bring Australians home during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has also been involved in sustainability initiatives, co-managing the world’s first Zero Waste airline flight.

Patrick holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Aviation & Business from Swinburne University of Technology.

In his spare time...

Patrick enjoys hiking and going to the beach. He loves to travel and is looking forward to going overseas now that the borders have re-opened.
