Paul is an experienced executive with deep skills in people and culture, mergers and acquisitions and strategy and transformation.

For the last 10 years he was a Group Executive at QSuper, in charge of human resources, strategy, transformation and communications.

Influential work

  • Integrated the Suncorp and GIO workforces
  • Designed the people strategy for the Promina and Suncorp merger
  • Design Accenture’s first UK employment relations strategy
  • Designed and delivered the Q Super and Q Invest cultural integration
  • Led the due diligence and integration of the QSuper and Sunsuper merger, a $200 billion transaction that formed the Australian Retirement Trust.

Outside of Nous

Paul began his career in NAB’s graduate program, spending time in personal and commercial banking before moving into human resources. His next move was to Suncorp, where he specialised in remuneration and employee relations and worked on both the GIO and Promina mergers. Paul has also spent time working for Accenture in the UK, specialising in employee relations and diversity.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Business (human resources and management) from Queensland University of Technology, as well as a postgraduate certificate of marketing from Monash University. He is a Prince2 Agile practitioner and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

In his spare time...

Paul is a busy dad who is actively involved with the Samford Pony Club and President of the Golden retriever Club of Queensland. He also enjoys swimming and playing tennis.
