Phuong Nguyen

• Supported the program management of a digital transformation program for a private health insurer that will modernise its enterprise technology, ways of working and business model 
• Developed an operating model for a global mining company’s IT department that strengthened the relationship between the department and business 
• Reviewed the patient flow in a WA hospital to identify efficiencies and scope improvement initiatives, which informed a program of work 
• Supported a project on the distribution of critical supplies in the healthcare system during the COVID-19 pandemic 
• Led a workstream in the market analysis and design of a university healthcare leadership course aimed to upskill health professionals to meet the sector demand. 

Phuong previously worked at PwC on projects in health and mining and also worked as a pharmacist in aged care. She is a registered pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA). 

Phuong also volunteers as a youth leader for her local community and mentors allied health students at the University of Western Australia. In 2022, she was named WA Pharmacist of the Year by PSA. 

Phuong holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Curtin University. She is also certified practitioner in change management and Scrum Master.

Phuong enjoys expanding her perspective by traveling around the world exploring new cultures and languages. She also watching historical documentaries and reading anything from Roman Empire history to business autobiographies.
