His background as an organisational psychologist supports his passion to design pragmatic, evidence-based solutions to enhance individual, team and organisational effectiveness. Ray has partnered with public, private and not-for-profit clients and brings expertise in organisational design, talent management, workforce strategy, employee engagement, culture transformation, digital transformation, leadership strategy, development and assessment. Clients value Ray’s proactive and engaging approach to solving complex challenges.
Prior to joining Nous, Ray worked at ANZ Banking Group managing the strategic design and implementation of the assessment tools and processes used throughout the talent acquisition processes across all roles and geographies. He has also worked in various other management consulting firms.
Ray plays an active role in enhancing the role of organisational psychology across Australia. He is currently the Chair of the Victorian College of Organisational Psychologists and is a Board-approved supervisor, providing supervision to provisional psychologists completing their masters in organisational psychology.
A registered organisational psychologist, Ray holds a Master of Psychology (Organisational) from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) from La Trobe University. He is a member of The Australian Psychological Society and a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society College of Organisational Psychologists. Ray is accredited in a range of psychometric assessments, including the Saville Wave, SHL, MLQ360+ and the Strong Interest Inventory.
Ray enjoys music, live shows and outdoor activities including camping, bushwalking, visiting the family farm and spending time with his dogs.
