Riya Kundu

• Reviewed a state restorative justice conferencing program and subsequently developed several service delivery model options for different user needs and circumstances
• Managed the development of a strategic plan for the Royal Flying Doctors Service in the Northern Territory and South Australia with a focus on community and service delivery partnerships
• Conducted a statutory review of the JobKeeper provisions in the Fair Work Act using trends analysis and consultations with unions, employer representative groups and regulatory bodies
• Currently managing the development of a strategic plan for a peak body in Aboriginal health in the Kimberley
• Current developing a state government youth justice strategy that focuses on centring the voices of young people and partnering across government departments to achieve outcomes.

Riya holds a double degree in law and economics from the Queensland University of Technology. Prior to joining Nous, Riya worked in planning and environment law and volunteered as a youth advisor at Amnesty International Australia.

You can find Riya cooking for friends, painting, practising yoga or spending time in nature (sometimes with a pair of binoculars, looking for interesting birds).
