Robbie is an experienced consultant with expertise in organisational design, transformation and implementation.

He has worked with senior leaders across higher education, public sector, retail and not-for-profit organisations in the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. Robbie’s wide range of experiences informs his people-focused approach to complex problem solving. Clients value his excellent communication, analytical skills and dynamic thinking that combine to make him an effective strategic and transformation advisor.

Influential work

  • Re-structured central administrative portfolios encompassing over 1,000 staff in a global research-intensive university as part of a wider organisational transformation to enable service excellence
  • Developed and implemented a new operating model for a Canadian university’s marketing and communications unit
  • Created a comprehensive growth and geographical expansion strategy for a national social mobility charity in the UK
  • Conducted substantial financial analysis to inform a procurement review of an international higher education institution
  • Re-designed course architecture at a top UK business school to maximise flexibility for students wishing to pursue worked-integrated learning courses
  • Advised on a digital engagement strategy for a US-based not-for-profit organisation.

Outside of Nous

Robbie worked in varied roles before joining Nous. Most recently, he worked in finance for Whistler Blackcomb, where he analysed the resort’s financial performance. Prior to that, Robbie gained experience in Deloitte’s technology consulting practice in its Enterprise team, KPMG’s People consulting team, and was the lead consultant on the McKinsey SolveIt! 2019 winning team.

Robbie also worked as a seminar tutor, teaching the History of Economic Thought course while in his final year of university.

He continues to work closely with children's and social mobility charities, including volunteering every summer at a weekly activity camp for children with serious health challenges.

In his spare time...

Robbie is a keen ski racer. If not on the slopes he may be found watching his beloved Liverpool FC or chasing his Broadway dreams. He is also a strong advocate for disability and wellbeing, and is the founder and co-chairman of the Nous Disability & Wellbeing Network.
