Tanya is a senior manager experienced in human resources, organisational development, workforce performance/rewards and change management across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors in both consulting and in-house roles. Tanya currently leads Nous’ internal learning and development function to deliver a great learning experience for Nous employees.

Tanya is passionate about improving workforce performance and making workplaces more human places to be, whether through medium-large scale transformations or smaller scale, targeted human resource improvement interventions.

Influential work

  • Responsible for all activities within the human resources function of a national franchise in the financial services sector
  • Led engagement survey and action planning efforts in three organisations as a consultant and as an in-house manager, achieving a 10% increase in employee engagement over two years
  • Co-project managed patient flow re-design for two major metropolitan hospitals; including the discovery, analysis and implementation phases
  • Led the change management to support a major core business system’s replacement
  • Led the review and replacement of a learning management system for an organisation with over 900 employees.

Outside of Nous

Before joining Nous, Tanya was the Manager, People (Australia) at Herron Todd White, and a Senior Associate at Mercer HR Consulting, Director of Policy and Recruitment at Queensland Health and Human Performance Manager at Accenture.

Tanya holds a Master of Human Resources (Charles Sturt University), Graduate Certificate of Change Management, (Australian Graduate School of Management), Graduate Diploma in East Asian Studies, Australian National University, Intensive Mandarin Chinese Study, Taiwan National Normal University and Bachelor of Communications (majoring in Mandarin Chinese and Public Relations).

In her spare time...

Tanya enjoys travel, art, reading and sport. She continues to play team hockey for the pure love of it.
