Tim leverages his experience in strategy, evaluation and stakeholder engagement and a background in tertiary education, international development and not-for-profit governance to deliver large and complex projects.
- Managed strategic projects, including the development of a transformation-focused strategic plan and the restructure of the largest faculty, for a leading New Zealand university
- Evaluated Deadly Innovation, a Queensland Government initiative that supports First Nations economic participation through innovation
- Reviewed casual staff administration for a Group of 8 university, combining a deep understanding of the enterprise agreement with stakeholder engagement and data analysis to offer recommendations to reduce casual pay errors
- Developed an international strategy for a large New Zealand university to regain market share following COVID-19 disruptions, undertaking stakeholder engagement to ensure buy-in and analysing the international student market to optimise strategic direction
Outside of Nous
Tim previously worked at the University of Queensland. His work there included project management of international development programs, managing concerts series and student administration. He was a Member of the Queensland Divisional Advisory Board of the Australian Red Cross and has over a decade of volunteering experience in youth development and supporting asylum seekers.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Music (Honours in cello performance) and a Bachelor of Arts (international relations and Spanish), as well as a Diploma of Language (French).
In his spare time...
Tim is a cellist and surfer, and fluent in Spanish and French.
