He has experience working in the retail and government sectors and a detailed understanding of strategic work; including market entry, mergers and acquisitions, and operations and implementation focused work, such as operating model redesign and business process reviews. He also brings strong stakeholder management skills: he works closely with executives and department leaders and maintains effective communication channels.
Outside of Nous, William serves as the National President of the Australia-China Youth Association, overseeing the operations of 20 Chapters across Australian universities and Chinese cities. He also leads implementation of several national initiatives to facilitate cross-cultural exchange, career and personal development, and engagement in bilateral dialogue among members.
William also mentors students at BusinessOne, a student-led Consulting association at the University of Melbourne, and is currently completing a graduate diploma in Data Science at Monash University. He already holds a Bachelor of Commerce (economics and finance) and a Diploma in Languages (Mandarin Chinese) from the University of Melbourne.
William enjoys being active, playing a range of sports such as snowboarding, basketball and calisthenics. He also likes to tinker with devices such as watches and mechanical keyboards.
