She has experience working to achieve high-quality and equitable education for young people, having worked in education policy design, implementation and evaluation. Common to her professional experience and personal pursuits is a passion for achieving positive outcomes for people and the planet, and in particular Australia’s First Nations population.
Before joining Nous, Zoe was an associate at Learning First, an education research and consulting group in Melbourne. At Learning First, Zoe advised governments in Australia and overseas on improving their education systems, including evaluating a $32 million state government program that sought to build teacher capacity to improve student learning.
Zoe has spent time at Cape York Partnership, an Indigenous policy reform and leadership organisation dedicated to empowering Cape York’s Indigenous people, and supported special needs students in Melbourne’s west to participate equally in education. Zoe holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
Zoe enjoys spending time outside. On weekends she can be found exploring Victoria with friends or at her favourite café with a good book.
