The UK office of award-winning management consultancy Nous Group continues to grow, with the appointment of Peter Horne, a former senior civil servant, to the leadership team.

Peter brings to the role leadership and consulting experience across the public, private and voluntary sectors at executive and board level. Peter started his career with Unilever, and subsequently became a senior civil servant in the UK’s Cabinet Office and worked as a consultant with an organisation design consultancy.

Tim Orton, the founder and managing director of Nous Group, welcomed Peter to the consultancy’s growing ranks of more than 400 staff across the UK and Australia.

“Peter is a talented and experienced advisor, so we are thrilled we can offer Nous clients in the UK access to his thinking,” Tim said. “In private and public sectors roles, Peter has already shaped the fortunes of many vital British organisations, and we look forward to him continuing to do so at Nous.

“Increasing numbers of clients in the UK are turning to Nous as their trusted advisors, so we are pleased to expand our team to meet their needs. We look forward to more big announcements about our growing presence in the UK soon.”

Peter, who started at Nous on May 13, said he was excited to join the organisation.

“I am delighted to be joining the UK leadership team of Nous Group, with a focus on the public sector,” he said. “It is great to be part of the rapidly growing team with their breadth and depth of expertise. I look forward to helping clients across central government, regulators and the NHS grapple with some of their most complex problems.”
