  • Worked on a submission to the Australian Treasury in response to proposed legislative changes from the Banking Royal Commission, including assessing the currently regulatory landscape of insurance policies
  • Supported the design of a new operating model for a department to maximise capabilities and meet strategic objectives, involving assessing potential cost savings and restructure opportunities to optimise collaboration
  • Delivered a business case and risk analysis to assess the purchase of new facilities for a community-based housing provider, using datasets to determine how new facilities could more easily address increasing demand for community housing
  • Evaluated the effectiveness of the Traditional Owner Settlement Act (VIC) in providing land rights to Victorian Traditional Owners via extensive stakeholder engagement and data analysis.

Outside of Nous

Before joining Nous, Alex undertook several internships in Melbourne and overseas. She was a risk assurance vacationer at PwC, a paralegal at Aboriginal Legal Service and a research assistant with Native Title Services Victoria.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts (anthropology & Spanish) and a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University.

In her spare time...

Alex loves travelling and cooking, especially making sourdough. She is also an avid movie-goer and is always looking for recommendations.
