Ben is a driven management consultant with extensive experience partnering with clients to solve their most pressing problems.

His experience stretches from strategy to organisational performance across financial services, defence, education, and the not-for-profit sector. Ben’s consulting acumen builds on his background in financial services at a large global bank and his extensive Australian Defence Force experience as an Australian Army officer.

Influential work

Reviewed a large government department, including assessing Australia’s defence and strategic goals and complex stakeholder engagement
Developed an operating model for a large defence contractor, including creating an improved organisational structure and identifying the key capabilities required to support it
Provided expert guidance to help a global miner develop a strategy to build skills for the future workplace. The strategy was founded on extensive data analysis of the gap between demand and supply in various skills
Reviewed the service proposition for a large global fund manager and provided a strategy to improve its offer to financial advisers
Helped a large Australian financial advice dealer group to create a more scalable service offer to financial advisers in the new fee-for-service environment.

Outside of Nous

Ben previously worked at Citigroup in internal consulting and wealth management, and interned at Ecolab, a multinational chemical manufacturer. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) (finance, accounting and music) from the University of Sydney and a Diploma of Leadership and Management from the Australian Defence College.
