Charleen is a business and digital-strategy-focused with an academic background in economics. She has worked with government and non-profit and has a cross-disciplinary experience in a range of sectors, particularly resources, sport and marketing.
Charleen brings experience in research and analysis, strategic planning, evaluation and stakeholder engagement. Communication, research and structured thinking are all attributes she is recognised for through out her career at Nous.

Influential work

  • Assisted in a co-design process that brought together regulatory agencies, industry and community representatives to identify and develop opportunities to improve regulation and regulatory practice for environment approvals
  • Worked closely with international contacts such as Granja Hogar orphanage in Mexico and Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital in San Antonio to provide them with sports uniforms and equipment to promote a healthy lifestyle and ensure no child ever gives up on their sporting dreams
  • Worked with the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries to conduct an independent assessment of the revenue raising potential of the Western Australian Institute of Sport.

Outside of Nous

During university breaks, Charleen completed two vacation programs at Deloitte with the corporate finance team. She was also a marketing intern in the athletics department for the University of Texas in San Antonio.

Charleen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (economics) from the University of Texas at San Antonio and completed a summer program at the London School of Economics.

In her spare time...

Charleen has a passion for all sports and is a die-hard West Coast Eagles fan. She also enjoys playing the guitar and listening to music.
