How can we support First Nations projects and enhance capability in Indigenous communities?
As a non-Indigenous-owned firm, we are committed to supporting reconciliation, Closing the Gap, and the aspirations of First Nations people. We are committed to projects where our expertise can complement the knowledge of our partners and the agency of the communities they serve.
We combine sector expertise with our experience working with and learning from First Nations people, communities and organisations to support sustainable, systemic change. Our experience spans economic development, health and mental health, human services, sustainable development, and public policy.
Our work celebrates the oldest continuing culture and the ability of First Nations peoples to achieve their ambitions for equity, self-determination, and more. We are committed to continuous learning to make sure our capability, cultural safety, and cultural competency is always improving.
The Indigenous design elements on this page are drawn from an artwork created by Nouser Selina Swan Nungurrayi, a proud Kija, Ngardi-Jaru Woman from Halls Creek in Western Australia, as an expression of Nous in an Aboriginal context. The three circles connect we, wit and wisdom side-by-side, with the connecting lines signifying the transcending and flexible ways in which Nous works. Reflecting traditional songlines, the artwork represents courage, connection, celebrations, ceremonies and healing.
The artwork titled We, Wit, Wisdom was commissioned by Nous in 2023 and is used with the permission of the artist.
