Robert brings more than ten years of experience in consulting and government.
Specialising in evaluation, he has worked with numerous organisations to conduct evaluations and reviews, design evaluation plans and frameworks, and build evaluation capability. He also has complementary expertise in strategy, risk management and stakeholder engagement. Clients appreciate his collaborative approach and ability to partner with them and their stakeholders to achieve shared solutions.

Influential work

  • Led evaluations of multiple sport and recreation programs under the Activate! Queensland strategy
  • Project managed an evaluation of the Pathways to Community Control program for the Northern Territory Aboriginal Health Forum
  • Designed a model of care for youth detention centres in Darwin and Alice Springs for the Department of Territory Families, Housing and Communities
  • Reviewed and developed a strategy to improve the data capabilities and practices of Women’s Safety Services of Central Australia
  • Developed risk management frameworks for Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations in the Northern Territory

Outside of Nous

Robert was an advisor in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, including its Data and Digital Branch and the Behavioural Economics Team of the Australian Government. He also worked as a tutor in the Research School of Economics at the Australian National University. 

He has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the ANU and is currently studying a Master of Evaluation at the University of Melbourne. 

He is an active member of the Australian Evaluation Society.
