Influential work

  • Evaluated the delivery of elections in Queensland, measuring success against key performance measures and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Improved outcomes for young people in the youth justice system across a range of projects including designing pilot programs for young people with disability and developing an organisational domestic and family violence framework
  • Designed a whole-of-government domestic and family violence framework to ensure a consistent, evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally appropriate response across the system
  • Advised on strategic investment for $1.65 billion investment into the mental health, alcohol and other drug sector, aligning three separate but interdependent strategic reform programs
  • Applied the United Nations Framework for Actions to assess the risks and potential drivers of atrocity crime across a state’s structures.

Outside of Nous

Previously Aidan has worked on federal elections, taught English as a foreign language, and conducted research into human rights, advocacy, and atrocity crime prevention.

Aidan holds a Bachelor of Business Management (International Business) and Bachelor of Arts (International Relations, German) from the University of Queensland.
