Brianna has a passion for education, stemming from her diverse experiences in schools as a teacher and instructional leader.
She designs and delivers capability and leadership upskilling workshops and is adept at generating momentum for change initiatives. Brianna has worked with school-based staff and school networks to build shared learning and development programs and approaches to improve teaching and learning, in line with state priorities.
Influential work
- Led whole-school professional development over three years in a Victorian public school to implement an evidence-based instructional model that continues to be implemented school-wide and with new staff
- Worked in a team of educational professionals to research and design a whole-school approach to coaching, including documentation
- Worked in collaboration with four schools identified in the 2018-19 Victorian State Budget to develop shared programs and approaches to improve teaching and learning across individual settings as part of the Flemington Education Plan
- Facilitated weekly workshops with school staff and monthly with the wider school community to build a shared understanding of school direction and to create deeper home-school partnerships.
Outside of Nous
Prior to Nous, Brianna worked in education in several Australian jurisdictions.
She had a curriculum and data leadership role in Victoria, where she facilitated professional development for staff and provided coaching based on evidence-based practices.
In her spare time
Brianna enjoys early-morning pilates and spending time in Sydney with her extended family. She loves to read and is always open to new book recommendations.
