Senior Consultant

Chris combines strategic thinking, economic and financial analysis, and stakeholder engagement skills to develop tailored solutions for his clients.

He has diverse experience at the intersection of business, strategy, and policy that includes supporting evaluations and strategy development with government, and contributing to growth planning and process improvement with private sector clients. In his work, Chris focuses on developing robust and fit-for-purpose solutions that can be successfully implemented and have long-term impact.

Influential work

Supported a multi-year evaluation of a state government innovation fund, leading interjurisdictional research and consultation with grant recipients to understand the fund’s impact and recommend implementation improvements
Supported co-design consultation and led analysis for a state-wide digital strategy in the education sector, underpinning a five-year roadmap of costed initiatives
Supported development of an outcomes framework for state-wide reform in the human services sector for the government
Helped design a new framework and process for the capability development function of a resources client, helping it be more efficient and collaborative in response to training and development requests
Analysed industry trends and market demand to recommend ways for a large Victorian TAFE to support its growth ambitions.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Chris was a product leader and business analyst at a software-as-a-service (SaaS) start-up in the mining and energy sector. In this role he partnered with customers and internal stakeholders to design software solutions intended to improve the efficiency of sales and marketing processes.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours in finance) from The University of Western Australia. At university, he volunteered with two student-run organisations that provided mentoring and tutoring to low socioeconomic students across WA.
