Dylan delivers value to his clients through his expertise in operating model design, digital transformations and implementation projects in the higher education and government sectors.
He has worked extensively with Australian universities and government agencies to redesign and implement new operating models, deliver operational efficiency gains and improve service delivery. Dylan has also led strategic reviews of IT and HR functions. With a background in corporate law, Dylan is a rigorous and analytical thinker, a dynamic communicator and commercially minded.

Influential work

  • Reviewed the ICT operating model of the Workplace Gender Equality Authority and delivered strategic recommendations to uplift the Agency’s ICT operating environment.
  • Developed an online education business case and associated operating model redesign for a large Queensland university.
  • Managed a national engagement process across universities, governments, and industry on the National Quantum Collaboration Initiative, as part of Australia’s National Quantum Strategy.
  • Developed and led an eight-month student placements review at a large Australian university.
  • Managed a staff onboarding digital transformation, improving staff experience, delivering efficiency gains and mitigating regulatory risks
  • Led data analysis project at a large Australian university, resulting in an automated process to prevent staff underpayments and mitigate risks of repetitional damage and regulatory action.

Outside of Nous

Dylan started his professional career in corporate law where he advised superannuation funds and large corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and general corporate matters. Prior to joining Nous, Dylan worked as a management consultant at a digital transformation consultancy.

Dylan holds a Certificate in Design Thinking and Innovation from Harvard Business School, a Graduate Certificate in Competitive Systems and Practices from Vative, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Australian National University, and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Economics from University of Queensland.

In his spare time...

Dylan is passionate about building strong, diverse communities and volunteers for LGBTQIA+ organizations. He has played mixed and men’s netball for more than 10 years and is an avid long-distance runner.
