Influential work

  • Worked with a large transport agency to engage with more than 1,700 road users to inform the design of policy initiatives to encourage the adoption of safer vehicles for priority road user groups
  • Evaluated a community program designed to support disadvantaged young people to obtain their driving license, undertaking robust data analysis and synthesising insights from focus groups to evaluate the impact and process of the program against the evaluation framework
  • Supported a Queensland Government health agency to identify telehealth system and workforce enhancement opportunities, including collaborating with clinicians and management staff to inform workforce opportunities
  • Reviewed and designed a new operating model for an Australian medical research institute, including designing and undertaking extensive benchmark analysis to improve role clarity and workforce capabilities
  • Developed workforce change management activities for a large health agency, through a business case to enhance virtual care models in Queensland, a list of change activities and technological options to support stakeholders with workforce changes.

Outside of Nous

Prior to Nous Emily designed and transformed an award and staff recognition system for a peak body organisation and tested and implemented a new payroll system for a not-for profit firm.

In her spare time...

Emily loves baking, going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends – mostly by going out to dinner!
