From her clinical experience she brings to health projects a deep understanding of the clinician and consumer perspective, and a nuanced and practical understanding of the Australian health system. Hilary is passionate about people, quality leadership and developing organisational capability to ensure optimal client outcomes.
Prior to joining Nous, Hilary held a management position at a renowned private nursing education company in Melbourne, working to develop and evaluate high quality nursing education and contribute to the broader field of nursing professional development in Australia. She has also worked as a clinical registered nurse at one of Victoria’s largest public trauma hospitals, as well as internationally in the UK’s National Health Service.
Hilary holds a Bachelor of Nursing from the Australian Catholic University and a Master of Education (Honours in educational management) from the University of Melbourne, for which she was awarded valedictorian for her cohort. She is currently the librarian and a committee member at the South Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, in which she also plays cello in their four public concerts a year.
Hilary can be found on the Yarra River training as a competitive rower for Melbourne Rowing Club and chasing the accompanying beautiful sunrises.
