He brings a wealth of experience in the tertiary education, cultural, and creative industries, and a scholarly understanding of policymaking, enterprise management and entrepreneurship.
Prior to joining Nous, James was a screen studies academic and tertiary educator. He also worked as a journalist and critic writing on film and culture for Australian and international publications.
James holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Media and Communications from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
James enjoys taking on amateur upholstery and furniture restoration projects.
