Jared’s artistic background influences his creative ability, which he uses to provide innovative solutions for clients.
Jared is a designer in Nous’ international visual design studio. He has a keen interest in data visualisation and visual identity. Jared stays current with design trends and is always looking for new ways to incorporate fresh ideas into his work and particularly enjoys the creative challenge of producing innovative results for clients and project teams. He has recently gained experience on projects with an Indigenous focus, where his detailed illustrations have been used to convey complex ideas clearly in a medium that will connect with diverse audiences.

Influential work

  • Led the design of a new public-facing strategic plan document for the Department of Justice (Western Australia) that visually communicated statistics and facts about the juvenile justice system and featured a double-page summary poster of the strategy
  • Designed a journey map that depicts the timeline of events for the medical assistance and support provided to isolated Australian Indigenous communities during the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Developed illustrative techniques to communicate a complex mining agreement provision to a remote Indigenous community visually and simply, ensuring all details could be easily understood.

Outside of Nous

Jared has immersed himself in the Perth design community, making connections through attendance at various networking events. He continues to volunteer his time to assist a community-based mental health program with digital and print content, and collaborates with the director to develop new ways to raise mental health awareness.

In his spare time...

Jared’s creativity never sleeps, and his spare time is usually spent experimenting with the latest visual design tools and techniques in personal and collaborative projects.
