He brings three years policy writing and project management experience and over 10 years of operational management and leadership. He has demonstrated the ability to work in high-paced environments; delivering projects, meeting key performance indicators and providing considered advice to various stakeholders. Joshua has worked across finance, energy and Indigenous affairs in the public sector, and retail in the private sector.
Joshua was identified as a retail leader early in his career and rapidly progressed his retail operations management career, becoming a store manager by the age of 25. Following this and while concurrently completing a Bachelor of Business (majoring in economics and finance), Joshua commenced as a Graduate at the Australian Government Department of Finance, working with the Budget and Financial Reporting group, advising the Minister for Finance and Cabinet on policy in the energy portfolio. Joshua then worked at the National Indigenous Australians Agency, writing policy and delivery programs in Indigenous economics.
Joshua likes walking around nearby lakes with his family, going to the gym and playing basketball (badly).
