Kelly has more than 17 years of experience as an executive assistant, business development assistant, events coordinator, and more recently paralegal, including in some of Australia’s top-tier law firms.
She has supported senior directors and heads of offices and managed large teams within sectors including real estate, infrastructure, taxation, banking and projects, employment relations and worker’s compensation. She is a highly driven team player with a passion to produce positive results for clients and colleagues.
Influential work
- Assisted with the rollout of a national online expense system that changed expense systems to paperless
- Organised and managed a 120-attendee business development client event for the Banking & Project team
- Assisted in the preparation and delivery of large-scale proposals involving high-profile real estate transactions and projects for Australia and the Asia-Pacific
- Delivered large-scale bids for infrastructure projects for highly recognised property clients
- Organised a project’s team for the Oxfam Trailwalker, with the team raising over $20,000 for Beyond Blue and completing 100km in 23 hours.
Outside of Nous
Kelly began her career on a working holiday in the UK over 20 years ago. Prior to her travels, she completed a hospitality traineeship, then worked at blue chip companies as a secretary and data entry operator between hospitality jobs. She also completed short computer courses, and when returning to Australia enrolled in St Patrick’s Business College in Sydney. After completing her business studies, Kelly began working in one of Australia’s top-tier law firms – an experience that evolved to a more senior executive assistant role. She has also completed a personal training course and had a part-time personal training business.
In her spare time...
Kelly enjoys the outdoors and being active. Her favourite activities include running, mountain biking, water skiing and kayaking. She also loves to catch up with friends and family, and travel.
