Influential work

Evaluated a surgery protocol implementation across multiple health services using a mixed-method approach and advanced statistical modelling to understand its impact on clinical and experience outcomes
Evaluated a mental health service through consultation and statistical analysis to understand how it was being implemented, what could be improved, and what was working well
Developed a skills dashboard using higher education, VET and employment data sources, combining data to understand trends within training, teaching and employment across NSW to allow for targeted resource allocation and longer-term planning
Reviewed academic calendars across universities to determine the impact of adopting a new academic calendar, examining which areas of education resources would maximise potential benefits.

Outside of Nous

Prior to joining Nous, Lachlan worked as a Consultant Statistician at Data Analysis Australia, a Health Safety Environment Analyst at BHP and a Research Assistant at the University of Western Australia (UWA) Oceans Institute. He was the valedictorian of the School of Physics, Mathematics and Computing at UWA for completing a Bachelor of Science Honours thesis on the statistical modelling of water density.
