Mia is an experienced leader and higher educational professional with substantial experience in transformation, change management, and strategic planning.
She is passionate about creating strong and lasting solutions while ensuring an inclusive environment and excellent client experience. She uses her excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills to drive projects and create positive change for her clients and their customers and has influenced and implemented projects small and large throughout her career in Australia and the UK.
- Supported a Group of Eight university to transform its digital student experience, identifying how to transform systems, processes and organisational design
- Managed development of the State Seniors Strategy and Action Plan for the Western Australia (WA) Government
- Managed an operating model review and redesign for a state government department, identifying how it could better align its organisational design to broader business priorities
- Led implementation of a large-scale transformation project at a London university, working with key stakeholders to determine the strategic direction of the department and ensuring that each school received a tailored and effective support service.
Outside of Nous
Prior to joining Nous Mia worked in higher education in Perth and London, driving student success strategies and leading and motivating teams to provide excellent support services for students and staff. She managed numerous strategy and transformation projects, including successful implementation of organisational change at University of WA (UWA) and London Metropolitan University.
Mia holds a Master of International Relations from UWA and a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Bergen in Norway.
