Prior to joining Nous, Michael held several operations-focused engineering roles. These roles spanned different organisation sizes, from start-ups to listed multinationals; and sectors, including mining, manufacturing and biotechnology. Through these experiences, Michael discovered a passion for operational transformation and continuous improvement for its ability to achieve ‘triple bottom line’ benefits.
Michael has a keen interest in social impact, particularly where it serves to benefit those facing socioeconomic disadvantage. This interest commenced during university where he took on pro-bono analyst and consulting positions at Investing for Charity and the Social Impact Hub.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce (finance) from University of New South Wales.
Michael is an avid tennis player and loves hiking and scuba diving (often used as excuses to travel). He is an amateur cook and brewer but hopes to improve.
