Minto is a skilled facilitator and trusted adviser who has supported executives in navigating sensitive cultural issues and driving organisational change.
With more than eight years’ experience in the higher education, health, and not-for-profit sectors, he brings a thoughtful and rigorous approach that allows him to deliver strong outcomes for clients. Minto is a committed researcher-practitioner and has written extensively on public policy issues, particularly in relation to higher education across Australia, the UK and India.

Influential work

  • Managing highly sensitive reviews in relation to discrimination and harassment, including in the higher education and health sectors.
  • Conducting analysis and developing insight for a multi-country research project exploring barriers to progression for underrepresented staff for the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities.
  • Managing several professional services transformation programmes for UK universities including at Bristol, Nottingham and Bath – from redesigning the delivery of campus services to modernising the marketing and communications functions.
  • Led a nine-month leadership development programme to equip creative and cultural sector leaders to tackle environmental and social challenges in the Plymouth region.

Outside of Nous

Before joining Nous, Minto was a strategy and communications advisor to the President and Vice-Chancellor at Monash University and has held policy focused roles across the higher education and health sectors.

Minto is currently completing a Doctorate in Education and holds a Master of Science (Higher Education) with Distinction, both at the University of Oxford.

Minto has previously been named Victorian Youth of the Year for Lions Australia and Young Citizen of the Year by the City of Stonnington.

Minto enjoys trying out the latest fitness fad, watching (or rewatching) political documentaries, and spending time with family and friends.
