Minto is skilled at working with leaders to address workforce and cultural challenges. Clients value his creative and rigorous approach to solving problems.
He applies his strategy and facilitation experience across the higher education, health, and government sectors. Minto combines deep expertise in the social science of culture with on-the-ground experience in driving change in complex organisations. Minto is a committed researcher-practitioner and has written extensively on higher education policy issues across Australia, the UK, and India.

Influential work

  • Partnered with a global multinational organisation to develop and implement a team effectiveness framework and suite of interventions to improve workplace collaboration
  • Advised multiple government departments on their future operating models to support organisational effectiveness
  • Led highly sensitive, public reviews in relation to discrimination and harassment, including the equity and inclusion review for Arts Council England, an anti-racism review for the UK’s organisation for cultural relations, and a cultural investigation for University College London
  • Developed and facilitated a bespoke leadership and culture change program for a major UK government agency, working directly with the Board and senior management team
  • Supported universities across Australia and the UK to improve organisational performance, culture, workforce and leadership through significant multi-year transformation programs
  • Shaped policy proposals to support Australia's leading research-intensive universities to secure long-term government investment

Outside of Nous

Minto holds a DPhil and a Master of Science with Distinction, both at the University of Oxford. His research investigated cultural and workforce issues within Indian universities with the objective of providing practical solutions to leaders and policymakers. 

Minto is a Trustee of Student Minds, a leading UK charity championing the mental health of students. Prior to Nous, Minto worked in policy and strategy focused roles across the higher education and health sectors.

Minto has previously been named Victorian Youth of the Year for Lions Australia and Young Citizen of the Year by the City of Stonnington.
