With over seven years' experience in the higher education and not-for-profit sectors, he brings a warm, thoughtful and rigorous approach that allows him to deliver strong outcomes for clients. Minto is a committed researcher-practitioner and has written extensively about higher education policy issues across Australia, the UK and India.
Before joining Nous, Minto was a policy and communications advisor to the President and Vice-Chancellor at Monash University and was Associate Editor at Wonkhe, a UK-based higher education think tank. He has also held executive leadership roles in the not-for-profit sector, including as Chief Operations Officer at the Oaktree Foundation and Campaign Lead, Australians for Mental Health.
Minto is currently completing a Doctorate in Education and holds a Master of Science (Higher Education), both at the University of Oxford. He also holds a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Advanced) from Monash University, where he was a participant of the Vice-Chancellor's Ancora Imparo Leadership Program.
Minto has previously been named Victorian Youth of the Year for Lions Australia and Young Citizen of the Year by the City of Stonnington.
Minto enjoys politics (particularly US politics), the arts, trying out the latest fitness fad and spending time with family and friends.
